U President George W Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney testified together Thursday before the national commission investigating the family 11, 2001 terrorist attacks onward New York and the Pentagon.

The 10-member, bipartisan National Commission forward Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, known popularly as the 9-11 Commission, gathered at the White House in the morning to adapted with the leaders for more than three hours in a clos session of which there will be no official record.

Addressing reporters in the Rose Garden shortly after the meeting, Bush said that he felt ''good'' about his discussion with the commission.

''I'm glad I did it. I'm glad that I took the time. This is an important commission, and it's important that they asked the questions they asked likewise that they can help make recommendations to better patronize our homeland. I enjoyed it,'' he said.

Although he declined to exhibit details, Bush said he and Cheney answered each question they were asked.

In a statement, the commission called the meeting in the Oval Office ''extraordinary'' and thanked the president and the vice president for being ''forthcoming and candid.''

Bush agreed to befitting with the commission in February, having proceed under pressure to justify his administration's pre-9/11 efforts to deal with terrorist threats.
