A full-scale describe of ballots cast in last month's disputed presidential election narrowly won by means of incumbent President Chen Shui-bian will begin upon May 10, Taiwan's High Court said Wednesday.

The court also noted in a written statement that a hearing upon a separate petition brought by the agency of defeated presidential candidate Lien Chan of the Nationalist Party (KMT) against the Central Election Commission seeking to nullify the March 20 election will spread Wednesday.
